Hikes

Our hikes are with Llamas. Not only are they going to carry the load you would normally carry but Llamas enjoy the hike too. Llamas have keen eyes and tend to notice wildlife you would not normally notice along the trail. Their agility and intelligence make them outstanding pack animals. All this together with surefootedness, ease of handling and low impact on the environment and you can see why hike with a llama companion is a great way to enjoy the outdoors

Hikes can be custom designed to accommodate little people with short legs and older people with tired legs. We can hike for one or two hours and have a snack somewhere along the trail with plenty of time to get to know your hiking llama companion.

All of our hikes practice minimum impact following the saying of "Take only pictures, leave only footprints" .

Our hikes are year round, weather permitting. But we usually offer farm visits during this time. Hikes may not be available during high heat and humidity of summer. Treat your family, business associates or out of town friends to this unique hiking experience. Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and youth groups are cordially welcome.
